We are looking for a motivated and badass individual to join our sales team fulfilling the role of Sales Development Rep. You will be responsible for assisting our Sales Reps/Managers in identifying leads, qualifying those leads, and setting initial meetings for reps to follow up on. You will serve as the initial point of contact between our business and potential customers. We’re looking for someone who can represent the company well, in all settings. The majority of this work will on be on the phone, making calling, so if you apply for this job you must be willing to be on the phone for hours. Additionally, you will also be asked to attend industry trade shows and other events. This is an awesome opportunity to plug into the burgeoning Cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities by outbound calls and email
  • Develop a script and line of questioning to uncover unmet needs or opportunities and generate excitement about our offerings
  • Qualify prospects over the phone using our established criteria and pass Qualified opportunities to the Sales Managers
  • Follow up on other marketing leads via email and phone
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Learn and communicate the basics of our products and our unique value proposition
  • Improve the lead generation process as needed
  • Administrative tasks as needed
